Primary Consultation Services
- Provide an expert clinical educator to present the required programs and to train the trainers
- Development of a modular system of education and competency based criteria for staff members
- Development of a system of documentation that demonstrates that staff has completed a specialty course designed for cardiac services and comply with organizational and state regulations
- Modular materials that may be used for ongoing education by the hospital’s staff educator, including competency based tests and checklists
- Development of standards of care for each patient population: i.e., cardiac catheterization patients, interventional patients, surgery patients—such as, day of admit for surgical services – a checklist for each patient
To provide consistency of services throughout the hospital with the care of the cardiac patient, including education of interdisciplinary team and departments: such as hospital step down units, critical care units and the emergency department
